There are so many amazing interior Instagram accounts to follow, I thought I’d share a selection of my favourites, to inspire your next home improvements project.
1: Helen from @homewithelenandco
If you’re a lover for all things pastel, Helen’s account is for you!
Probably best known for her incredible bright bathroom transformation. Helen kept the original loo and taps and then replaced everything else, saving a whooping £400 alone on tiling quotes, by teaching herself how to tile via YouTube.
“Sharing photos and videos of my home, which has a bright, mostly pastel aesthetic. I particularly love creating feature walls with paint and can never resist a cute homeware find”.
For additional “cuteness” Helen’s beautiful Pomeranian, Cubby can often be seen gracing her grid.
2: Jen from @crack_the_shutters
If you love an Ikea hack, you’re going to love Jen’s account. The DIY projects that she’s created for both her home and garden are incredible!
From her pallet bar (which was created way before any lock-downs) and amazing pizza oven to numerous furniture hacks; if you love a DIY project @crack_the_shutters is an account you need to follow.
“I set up my Instagram account @crack_the_shutters to document my love of interiors and DIY about 4 years ago. I love to share furniture hacks and easy DIY projects alongside side renovations, decorating and home styling!”
3: Belle from @designermumetc
Not only does Belle have the most amazing home, the garden transformation that she’s created is a truly beautiful outside space, complete with dip-tank and pergola swing.
As well as having the most beautiful home and garden, Belle and her husband Dave @shopper_dave are two of the most generous people, raising money and awareness for so many charities throughout the year.
Plus, there’s often a few comedy moments shared on stories around the trials and tribulations of married, family life.
Definitely a must follow!
4: Janice from @ourhomeonthefold
I’m sure Janice’s pergola must be the most famous pergola on the gram.
If you’re a garden lover and looking for inspiration on how to make the most of your garden all year round @ourhomeonthefold won’t disappoint.
5: Melissa from @honeybeeandhollie
Pastels, wallpaper, paint and panelling pretty much sums up Melissa’s account @honeybeeandhollie.
Her fun and fast paced reels are bound to inspire you to try something new in your home.
“I am often asked what my style is and I consider it be rooted in the classic and traditional with a whole heap of florals thrown in. I love colour, pattern and texture and am passionate about designing spaces that are pretty, but also warm and inviting”.
“I live in a newish build, (a period property is the dream) and so I’m always looking for ways to add character to my very plain and uninspiring home. I try to show people how they can elevate any space by combing elements of classic design, even in a new build.
I dream of lofty ceilings and original features but right now I use colour, pattern and texture with the aim of creating elegant and pretty spaces that also feel effortless and lived in.”
6: Laura from @laurahomeandlifestyle
Laura has the most beautiful farmhouse inspired kitchen and doesn’t need too many excuses to prepare for a family get together.
If you’re looking for inspiration on how to re-create breath-taking tablescapes for entertaining this summer Laura’s account, @laurahomeandlifestyle is well worth checking out.
7: V from @theelectricpenguin
If bright, colourful and maximalist is more your thing then you won’t be disappointed with what V’s home has to offer.
@theelectricpenguin is full of amazing DIY tips on how to transform your home into a vibrant, fun place to live without it costing a fortune.
8: Dani from @danisdomain
Dani’s home has a wonderful Bohemian vibe and loves styling her home with plants using plants in her home, the more the merrier!
Alongside her self-confession of being a “shelfie addict” you’ll be completely wowed by her time-lapse shelfie reels, and she’s no stranger to be shared on the famous @apartmenttherapy grid.
If beautiful outside spaces are more your thing, Dani’s “living room” garden is bound to inspire you.
I hope you’ve discovered at least one new Instagram account to swoon over that inspires you for your next home or garden renovations project.
