Then, in December it was PANTONE’s turn to share their Colour of the Year, which as I’m sure most of you will know, Peach Fuzz was announced.

Described to capture our desire to nurture ourselves and others. It’s a velvety gentle peach tone whose all-embracing spirit enriches mind, body, and soul.

As I’ve mentioned previously I’m always quite dubious on the choices these leading colour experts select, and I have to say, yet again this year PANTONE has not let me down!

Not only am I really not a fan of Peach, certainly not for interiors, why would you name a colour after annoying fluffy facial hair??

What I found even more interesting, WGSN announced their Colour of the Year to also be a very similar peachy tone, referenced as Apricot Crush.

Rather coincidental don’t you think?

Anyhow, I’ve collated a selection of images to showcase how Peach Fuzz could be introduced into your home, I’d love to know what you think.

Combine with neutral tones

Starting quite safe with this beautiful bohemian inspired room by Liefhebberi’je.

The combination of a golden wheat hue with the warm peachy tones works really well together, alongside the neutral accessories.

Continuing with the neutral theme, Peach Fuzz is really effective when combined with a light natural wood such as beech or oak.

If you’re feeling brave, why not go all out with some peach on peach options.

Ranging from subtle varying tones of peach to a bolder approach combining Peach Fuzz with a terracotta tone.

Make a statement

If you want to go all out and make a real statement consider combining Peach Fuzz with monochrome colour blocking is a very effective combination.

If that’s a little too much for you, I have to say this stunning kitchen by Sebastian Cox for deVOL Kitchens really caught my eye, and although I wouldn’t choose to have this in my own home, the Peach Fuzz combined with the natural timber tones is very effective, and shows how you can introduce the colour peach into your home.
